What a busy few months it has been preparing for the recent Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act requirements to make sure the transition for you as users has been as seamless as possible, with a number of releases done to support this.
At the time of writing, we have already had over 6,500 confirmation statements sent with registered email addresses included and 75,000+ registered email addresses loaded into Inform Direct in preparation to be sent.
But we don’t stop there…. This release contains a plethora of smaller improvements to Inform Direct.
Here are the details of the main feature of this release.
There are many benefits to subscribing
Configuring your email reminders is exclusive to subscribers of the software. This is just one of many benefits of an Inform Direct subscription.
Want to tailor which reminder emails you receive?
You can now manage which reminder emails you receive from ‘Your profile’ > ‘Change email preferences’. You will see we have broken down the reminder emails into the four individual types that you can turn on or off to suit your needs.
The breakdown is by:
- Confirmation statement reminders
- Accounts reminders
- VAT reminders
- Pending approvals reminders
You can also tailor the emails managers and practitioners receive via ‘Account’ > ‘Manage users’ > ‘Manage email settings’.
Other improvements
There are also some other great enhancements as follows:
- Dormant and micro entity accounts now include a corporate director’s ‘Authorised person’ as an option for who signed the accounts on behalf of the board.
- Cashback on Barclays bank accounts that are set up as part of a company’s incorporation are no longer locked down to be paid to Barclays bank accounts only.
- The limit on the number of characters for the designation on share allotment and transfer has been increased.
- We have updated the references to our 2023 Feefo Platinum Award to reference our 2024 Feefo Platinum Award
- The recent activity grid will remind users not to worry about submissions that are pending for less than two working days. Companies House will not looked into cases until they exceed this timeline.
- A collection of small refinements to the increase consistency of:
- The layout of information in a few places
- Terms we use in a handful of processes
- How we populate (paper) share forms
- Various performance enhancements.
- … and many other minor improvements.
