We’ve had some great new updates recently, including the one earlier this month to automate the production of dormant company accounts.
Alongside these new features we have been developing a collection of enhancements, some of which came from customer requests, so thank you for contacting us about these.
Indicating that a company is registered for VAT
We recently added the ability to pull back VAT dates from HMRC where a VAT registration number has been entered for a company. However, it was not possible to record that a company was registered for VAT but that you do not have the VAT registration number (yet).
There are many benefits to subscribing
Automations are exclusive to subscribers of the software. This is just one of many benefits of an Inform Direct subscription.
We’ve addressed this by adding a separate field to help you identify companies that are VAT registered, but you do not have the VAT registration number yet.
You can use the ‘VAT returns due’ report to see the status of this field and the VAT registration number for all of your companies.
Viewing your recent logins
From the ‘Your profile’ area of Inform Direct you can now view the most recent logins to your user account, when they were and a rough location.
Various other improvements
This release contains various other enhancements:
- Share certificate now allows a larger (longer) number of shares to be displayed
- Improved on screen messaging when checking company names that contain parts that are not allowed by Companies House
- Uploaded iXBRL files now have the extension .html added to them for more convenient opening
- Better synchronising of a company’s accounts ‘Next made up to date’
- Some minor improvement to various processes
- Numerous performance improvements
