BrightID is coming to Inform Direct — here’s what it means for you

We’re introducing BrightID; a single, secure login that will work across Inform Direct and other products in the Bright family. This is a change to how you sign in – and it’s a change worth making.

Why this is good news

Flexible multi-factor authentication, built in.

BrightID will bring your multi-factor authentication together across all Bright products in one place, with more options available – including email, phone, and authenticator apps.

Bright’s AI capabilities, brought into Inform Direct.

Bright is actively developing AI-powered features across its product suite. BrightID will enable those capabilities to reach Inform Direct – meaning smarter tools, better automation, and less manual work. We’ll have more to share on that later in the year.

Seamless data syncing across Bright products.

Many of you already use more than one Bright product. Later this year, BrightID will enable your client and company data to sync seamlessly between them – no re-entering information, fewer errors, and a more joined-up experience across the tools you rely on.

What you need to do before we go live

There are two simple things to do now, before BrightID is switched on:

  1. Make sure your email address is up to date in Inform Direct.

    Your BrightID will be tied to your email address. If the email on your Inform Direct account is outdated or a shared inbox you no longer use, update it now in your account settings.

  2. Know your email address and password.

    When BrightID launches, you’ll go through a one-time setup process to link your existing Inform Direct account. You’ll need to be able to sign in to confirm it’s you.
