Record company formations in Wiltshire as companies registered in the county top 30,000
With 4,208 new registrations, it was a record new for new company formations in Wiltshire. Swindon stood out within the county, contributing 1,430 new companies to the county’s total.
The total number of active companies based in the county passed 30,000 for the first time, standing at 31,016 by the end of 2014. That means there’s over 5% more companies in Wiltshire than a year ago and 28% more than 5 years ago.
