West Yorkshire has an exciting rise in companies formed during 2020

Continuing the trend from the last few years, West Yorkshire formed a record number of companies. 22,615 company  incorporations were recorded across the county; a 9.4% rise from 2019.

Despite the pandemic, lockdowns, and the loom of Brexit there were positive signs across the county. Bradford alone accounted for 5,170 companies. Kirklees registered 4,299 incorporations, Wakefield had 2,101 and Leeds stole the show with 9,311.
