The West Midlands has an exciting rise in companies formed during 2020

Continuing the trend from the last few years, the West Midlands formed a record number of companies. 37,202 company  incorporations were recorded across the county; a 10.7% rise from 2019.

Despite the pandemic, lockdowns, and the loom of Brexit there were positive signs across the county. Coventry alone accounted for 4,169 companies. Sandwell registered 4,765 incorporations, Wolverhampton had 2,928 and Birmingham stole the show with 18,435.
