Nottinghamshire sees exciting increase in company startups in 2020

Nottinghamshire experienced a significant rise in company formations in 2020, as 8,760 companies were set up throughout the year. That brings the total number based in the county to 56,199 at the end of 2020.

Despite the lockdown and Brexit, there have been positive results across the county. Nottingham itself saw 3,592 new companies established, with 881 in Rushcliffe, 744 in Gedling, 804 in Mansfield, 667 in Bassetlaw and 730 in Broxtowe.
