Exciting growth in companies formed in Merseyside during 2020
2020 might have been a tough year but Merseyside yet again saw a growth of 9.3% in the number of incorporations as compared to 2019. Despite all the struggles the positive numbers speak for themselves: 13,410 businesses formed.
There was a strong performance across the county with Liverpool accounting for the majority of companies formed with 6,510 formations. The Wirral saw 2,364 new companies whilst Sefton recorded 2,150 incorporations. See more detailed information below.
