Hampshire sees a record number of companies formed during 2020

Continuing the trend from the last few years, Hampshire formed a record number of companies. 15,534 company incorporations were recorded across the county; an 5.7% rise from 2019.

Despite the pandemic, lockdowns, and the Brexit there were positive signs across the county. East Hampshire alone accounted for 1,814 companies. Portsmouth registered 1,845 incorporations, Winchester had 1,412 and Southampton stole the show with 2,180.
