Gloucestershire has an exciting rise in companies formed during 2020

Continuing the trend from the last few years, Gloucestershire formed a record number of companies. 6,419 company incorporations were recorded across the county; an 5% rise from 2019.

Despite the pandemic, lockdowns, and the loom of Brexit there were positive signs across Gloucestershire. Gloucester alone accounted for 1,012 companies. Cheltenham registered 1,002 incorporations, Tewkesbury had 658 and most incorporations were recorded in the South Gloucestershire area with 1,847.
