East Sussex has an exciting rise in companies formed during 2020

Continuing the trend from the last few years, East Sussex formed a record number of companies. 8,149 company  incorporations were recorded across the county; an 4.1% rise from 2019.

Despite the pandemic, lockdowns, and the loom of Brexit there were positive signs across East Sussex. Wealden alone accounted for 1,335 companies. Eastbourne registered 1,230 incorporations, Lewes had 637 and Brighton and Hove stole the show with 3,662.
