Exciting growth in companies formed in Cumbria during 2020

2020 might have been a tough year but Cumbria yet again saw a growth of 4.2% in the number of incorporations as compared to 2019. Despite all the struggles the positive numbers speak for themselves: 2,333 businesses formed.

There was a strong performance across the county with Carlisle accounting for the majority of companies formed with 567 formations. Allerdale saw 395 new companies whilst South Lakeland recorded 585 incorporations. See more detailed information below.
