Big increase in new company registration in Cheshire in 2018

Cheshire experienced a sizeable increase in company registrations in 2018, as 13,259 companies were formed in the year. That compares with 11,619 companies registered in 2017, and brings the total number based in Cheshire to 78,274 at the close of 2018.

Across the county, there was good news. 6,243 new companies were registered in Warrington, 3,438 in Cheshire East, 2,765 in Cheshire West and Chester and 792 in Halton.
