Warwickshire reaches record high number of companies in 2023

At the end of 2023 there were more registered businesses than ever before. The final figure of 43,587 companies in the county showed a growth of 2.4% over the previous year’s figure of 42,564.

Despite this encouraging figure, overall growth was flat in Warwickshire due to a slight drop in the number of new companies formed and a small rise in companies dissolved. 5,157 new companies were formed in 2023 against a slightly higher 5,540 in 2022. But Warwickshire still kept its 36^th place in the national counties league table of company formations.
