Isle of Man has a successful year for company formations

The Isle of Wight’s entrepreneurs have somewhat picked up the pace in 2023. There were 5.5 new incorporations per 1,000 people, an improvement on 2022’s 4.7. In total there were 757 company formations, a rise of 16.1% over the 652 companies formed in 2022. The total number of companies has been rising gradually over the last 3 years and at the end of 2023 stood at 6,580. So growth is present in the Isle of Wight, albeit modest – and it keeps its 46^th place in the company formations league table of English counties.
