Hertfordshire stays strong in company formations in 2023

Hertfordshire has had a successful year of company formations with 122,871 companies registered in total at the end of 2023. This was achieved by modest growth in company formations – 14,512 against 13,643 in 2022, an increase of 6.4%.

This modest growth means Hertfordshire keeps its 8^th place in the national league table of company formations and remains one of the UK’s most entrepreneurial counties.
