Number of companies in the East Riding of Yorkshire hits a record high

The East Riding of Yorkshire ended 2023 with more companies than ever before – despite a small drop in company formations compared to 2022.

There were 4,211 company formation in 2023, which more or less kept level with 4,233 the previous year. This allowed the county to end 2023 with an all-time high of 30,108 companies.
