The number of new incorporations falls for the first time since 2016 in West Sussex after 4 years of consistent growth.

5,538 companies were dissolved in West Sussex in 2021, a 30.3% increase on the previous year and the highest sum in at least 10 years. Together with the number of new companies being formed decreasing against the previous year for the first time since 2016, the trials of yet another COVID-19 year are clear in a disappointing 2.5% growth for 2021.
