You are now able to see the fruits of our recent release (now that Companies House are starting to release the stream of PSC personal code ‘due by’ dates) on the PSC tab of many of your companies.
This release is starting to use these due dates to make sure that we remind you of upcoming director, LLP member and PSC verification deadlines to help you stay compliant.

New email reminder setting
There is a new email reminder setting that allows you to receive emails reminding you of upcoming director, LLP member and PSC verification deadlines (i.e. the date by which you must submit a director, LLP member or PSC’s personal code to Companies House).
This has been defaulted to match your current setting for confirmation statement reminders, but you can update it as desired.
Company notifications and email reminders
When a deadline is approaching to send a personal code for a director, LLP member or PSC to Companies House a company notification will be generated and reminder email sent (if you have the email preference ‘on’), as follows:
- Where the director, LLP member or PSC’s personal code is not yet entered in Inform Direct
- 21 days before the personal code can be sent to Companies House
- 7 days before the personal code can be sent to Companies House
- On the first day that the personal code can be sent to Companies House
- 3 days before the deadline by which the personal code must be sent to Companies House
- Where a PSC’s personal code is already entered in Inform Direct
- On the first day that the personal code can be sent to Companies House
- 3 days before the deadline by which the personal code must be sent to Companies House
Note that director and LLP members that already have their personal code recorded in Inform Direct will not cause reminders because those personal codes are sent to Companies House as part of the confirmation statement, which already has its own notifications and email reminders.
Other changes preparing for the 18th November
This release also contains more changes to Inform Direct preparing for the tranche of Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA) changes Companies House are releasing on the 18th November 2025. These are preparatory and will not take effect until the 18th November.
