With 18 November 2025 now past, we’ve made the necessary updates and we’re seeing submissions (largely) being processed as expected. Support levels remain a little higher than usual, and we’re grateful for your patience with the team during this busy period.

Automated PSC personal code filing
This is the big one. We’ve introduced automatic filing of PSC personal code verification statements (VS01s) to Companies House.
Here’s how it works:
- Simply activate the feature with a single switch on your organisation’s Account page
- For any PSCs with personal code due dates on a given day and personal codes already entered, the PSC verification statements will be filed automatically to Companies House
- No more calendar reminders, no more manual checks – the system handles it for you
We know that keeping track of PSC personal code verification deadlines has been a headache for many of you. For customers who enable this feature, those worries should now be a thing of the past.
Sending PSC personal codes with the confirmation statement
We understand that full automation isn’t for everyone. Some of you prefer to maintain a bit more control over the filing process.
That’s why we’ve also added a semi-automated option:
- During the confirmation statement process, the system will identify any PSCs with personal codes entered whose personal code filing date has passed
- At the end of the confirmation process when you click ‘Submit to Companies House’, by default you will file the PSC personal codes identified for filing
You stay in control, but the system does the heavy lifting of identifying what needs to be filed.
Business occupation field updates
Following recent changes to Companies House requirements, we’ve updated how the ‘Business occupation’ field is handled throughout the system.
What’s changed:
- The ‘Business occupation’ field has been removed from the Appoint Officer, Edit Personal Details, Incorporation, Import and Confirmation Statement processes
- This item of data is no longer required by Companies House
- By default, the system will now hide the ‘Business Occupation’ field in the ‘Register of directors’
But don’t worry – you’re still in control:
- A new green ‘Hide Business Occupation/Show Business Occupation’ button allows you to choose whether to display this information in your ‘Register of directors’
- If you want to continue showing business occupations, simply click the button to make the field visible again
- You can manually add business occupation information to the register whenever you choose
